Studio IV
This studio addressed the debate proposed Guggenheim Helsinki by aiming to expand the definition of "museum" typology to better reflect the heterogeneous nature of the city of Helsinki. Developed an alternative museum by conceptually linking the dichotomous relationship that exists between a museum's role in memorializing a city's heritage and actively shaping its present and future urban context.

Studio III
There are nearly one million species of insects on earth, many possessing the ability to produce biological materials with uses ranging from food to weaponry to architecture. These insect's innate ability and drive to build is the ultimate hardwired "blueprint" to shape experience, sharing the same purpose as their human architect counterparts. Perhaps our own species' participation in the built world could be informed by how insects construct and experience their own architectural worlds. This project created an intersection and coexistence between two creative working species: insects and humans.
